Confirm your device has a label showing EZ@XXXXXX and the wireless key. If not, you may need to pay a fee for your device to be activated here. The EZ Hotspot V3 edition is developed by an outsourced software house. 

METHOD ONE:

  01   Delete any ezhotspot firmware which you have previously download to your computer.

  02   Click below link to download the latest version according to your device type

 

  03   In the EzActivation menu, scroll down and click on the Choose File and select the firmware which was downloaded to your computer

 

  04  Click on UPLOAD.

  05   Click on Revert to Original Firmware. Process will take about 240 seconds.

 

METHOD TWO:

  01  Connect to the SSID "ez@ACTIVATE". It is open and no wireless encryption key is required. Once connected, open your browser and type ez.eu or ezhotspot.eu to see the following page.

  02  Copy the 12 digit reference code as shown above and submit it in our   Ask a Question and in the Question field, enter  (88DCXXXXXX - need activate). Remember to indicate your email correctly in the email field as an email message containing the activation code will be sent to you.

  03  Once you received the email message containing the activation code, copy and paste into the field as shown below. Otherwise, you can also check for the activation code in the self-check area of www.easywrt.com. Then press Submit.

  04  Your device is now unlocked as shown below. The SSID "ez@ACTIVATE" will disappear shortly and your device SSID will appear as ez@xxxxxx. Use ezunlocked as the wireless encryption key to join to the new SSID. 

  05  Once joined to the new SSID "ez@xxxxxx", open a browser and type ez.eu or ezhotspot.eu to see the new EzSetup V3 menu as shown below. Your device is ready for use. You can easily change your desired SSID and wireless in the Administrator Dashboard.
