The EzHotspot V3 is supplied with a 110-240Vac switching power adapter with an output 24Vdc and is encouraged to use the power adapter as supplied. If using the supplied power adapter, you can use an Ethernet LAN cable length of up to 30 meters effectively.
It is however possible to use a 110-240Vac switching adapter with an output of 12Vdc or a direct 12Vdc from a car cigarette adapter and a passive PoE adapter. Length of Ethernet LAN cable should be limited to 5 meters to prevent loss of voltage needed for the V3 to operate effectively.
