Ezhotspot v4 with a ZTE MF667/O2 Surfstick example

Newer 3G/4G/LTE USB sticks are equip with a "hostless" feature to support high speed transfer of 4G/LTE. Instead of traditional modem, which use serial connections, the hostless feature creates a virtual ethernet interface on the USB.

The V4 detects such devices as an internet gateway and will prompt the gateway address (the 3G/4G/LTE USB sticks' web configuration) where you may further enter sim unblock code or change the APN, user and password if needed.

In certain hostless 3G/4G/LTE USB sticks, you may have to click connect in their web configuration before the V4 has a successful internet connection
