The EzHotspot is a single band 2.4Ghz and does not work on the 5Ghz. The main reasons are as as follow:
- 5Ghz does not have good penetration through obstacles as compared to 2.4Ghz
- 2.4Ghz will still be supported for a long time as there are still million of devices and low price laptops/handphones, etc working only on 2.4Ghz
